Description

So I recently stumbled over this beautiful song and found out about Flowerfell (a beautifully sad Undertale AU that originated from the fanfiction Overgrowth, which you can find on patreon or on youtube ).
At first I this was supposed to be just one simple picture but somehow it turned into a short comic and probably the first finished image I did in ages.
It was quite fun to try something different for once with a bit more character interaction than usually^^

Hello there, I'm a member of the group ProjectComment

I'm in love with this piece and I'm afraid it may be hard for me to find things that could be improved. First of all, the colors you chose create a warm and soothing atmosphere and fit together very well with the facial expressions of the characters. I like how the light, warm yellowish-orange supports Frisks smiling face and how the panels' content becomes rather bittersweet as the color blends into a colder redish purple. I'd definitly continue making use of that. The flower effect on the side of the panels is really nice as well. The characters themselves are nicely drawn. The colors of their clothes and skin (or bones) fit well together with the background color(s) and the soft shading makes them seem three-dimensional without letting them stand out too much. I especially like the little brightly yellow highlights on Frisks hair. They help a lot creating a realistic environment. The only things you could maybe improve are Sans position/expression and the speechbubble in the second panel. While it's understandable that Frisk is the focus of attention, it's kinda hard to read Sans emotions, which is a great loss for this amazing piece of art. Maybe try to work more throu bodylanguage (such as sunk shoulders, lowerd head, clenched hands etc.) to let the viewer know what he feels without them needing to see his face. For the speechbubble I'd use clearer lines to seperate it more from the background.

I hope I was able to help you just a little bit. Have a nice day, dear Bendy smile
